Matthew Tukaki, Chief Executive Officer Matthew Tukaki is CEO of SansGov and leads the consulting, advisory and sustainability practices of the business. Matthew Tukaki is the former Head of one of the world’s largest and oldest employment companies, Drake International. Matthew was responsible for operations in Australia and the Asia Pacific where, most recently, he guided the business through the Global Financial Crisis. While with Drake Matthew oversaw all divisions from medical and clinical through to employment, training and education. In addition he was a member of various subsidiary company boards and was Chairman of WorkWise group. Under Matthew’s leadership the approach to sustainability and the environment was one of the central pillars of strategy and he remains an advocate of green leasing, carbon emission reduction programs, water table management in developing countries and the identification of business solutions to climate change.
As a signatory to both the United Nations Global Compact
and the 60th Anniversary of the Declaration
of Human Rights, Matthew is widely respected for his
work on green jobs and green skills and has used his
position at the helm of one of the nation’s largest
labour hire companies to educate employers and other
business executives on how they can implement
sustainability programs no matter how small or large the
business or organisation. In March of 2010 Matthew
returned to private practice as the CEO of SansGov and
works with Governments, civil society organisations and
business on the challenges of the green economy and its
impact on business, green jobs, green technologies and
the challenge of skilling and cross-skilling to meet the
demands of a rise in the green collar workforce around
the world. Most recently Matthew has been in India
speaking at the United Nations Global Compact Conclave
and talking with business in developing countries about
better approaches to environmental and workforce
management. Matthew is a member of the UNGC LAN
Establishment Taskforce in Australia and remains a
member of various boards and committees. Austin Kim, Senior Executive Advisor, Asia Government Austin Kim is a Senior Executive Advisor to SansGov and works closely with clients in the South East and North East Asia jurisdictions. Austin was Samsung's Regional Manager for Asia for nine years between 1994 and 2003, during which time he developed a strong network within government across the region. After moving to Singapore in 2003 Austin took on the role of developing the Stand First Telecommunications company, one of the first mobile content providers in the telecommunications sector, as its Managing Director. Austin is based in Seoul, South Korea with reach right across the Asia North area. Eileen Lim, Senior Executive Advisor, Asia Corporate Sector Eileen is a former senior director within the Singaporean Public Service and has held various senior roles dealing with business partnerships and the commercialisation of intellectual property and innovation. Eileen works with Australian business moving into the Asian region under a dedicated program seeking to ensure they are established correctly and are abiding by local laws and regulatory frameworks. Eileen also works to audit corporate social responsibility programs, environmental impact statements and business sustainability programs. Eileen is based in Singapore with reach right across South East Asia. |
